Gifted

Joe gave me a beautiful card and a couple of cd's for my birthday tonight. "PJ Harvey: The Peel Sessions" and "The Ultimate Bruce Springsteen." They are both awesome. We've been listening to them and the ones I gave him for his birthday this evening. His birthday cds included the album Jessi Colter recorded after Waylon's death. It's called "Out Of The Ashes" and it's a symbol of learning to live without him. It just makes me cry.

I decided to take a little break and watch some stuff on YouTube. But of course, I love Waylon and before I knew it, I'd found this little gem and it made me cry all over again. Her feathered hair, his swagger and their witty banter just break my heart. Watch it.
