Lake Of Fireworks

When I was pregnant with Zoe, I couldn't get this song out of my head. She was due on the fourth of July and of all the songs to fixate upon, this particular song is the one my psyche picked. Once, I woke Joe up in the middle of the night, singing it in my sleep. Truth be told, she should've been named Cobain. And yes, I know it was a Meat Puppet's song but I couldn't name her Meat Puppet. That would be weird.

I really don't have a point here. 

Except to say that I really like this song. I really like the video even though he screws up about 49 seconds into it. He covers it nicely, though. 

And I really like my daughter.

She's good. She really is.

And I really like fireworks. 

Just in case she isn't!

Upon first, second and third glance at the google thumbnail, I fully believed this to be a  photo of a chicken.

I mean, I didn't look at it and say, Hey! He looks like a chicken! 

No, no...I looked at it for a long time and I thought it was a chicken!

Heat has scrambled my brains...
