The sickness, whatever it is, has made the full rounds now. It took Zoe first, then Sam on Wednesday. Joe had a temperature of 101.9 by the time we finished trick or treating last night. He slept until 10:30 this morning and after two doses of motrin during the night, he seemed much better today.
I felt great this morning and cooked a huge breakfast. I served some to Joe in bed and then started to clean. After a week of work, surprise visits, pukefests and Halloween festivities, the house was suffering, too. This afternoon I collapsed on the sofa and slipped into a deep, dream filled slumber. When I awakened a couple of hours later, I was feverish myself.
In honor of the fever and the dreams of Nina Hagen it induced, I thought I'd post this video. Just wait out the German speak in the beginning. I promise it's worth it.
*Joe would like me to add a disclaimer to this video stating he can't stand this freaky chick. So there. He doesn't like her and I'm fine with that. It take all kinds of haters to make the world go round.
