A Glade PlugIn Saved My Children's Lives

So, if you read my post the other night, you know that I was not in a good mood. That's very hard for me to admit anymore. I'm not sure why. Probably because I'm a big grown-up girl of thirty three years and should have it together by now. But I know even as I type that I should have it together that no one ever really feels like they have it totally together...unless they're dead and I'm far from dead. Uh, I hope...

Anyhoo, I woke up the next morning and after getting a good night's sleep and gargling with that salt water juiced up with Vitamins A & C and that echinacea stuff, I felt so much better. So much better that I prepared a nice breakfast for the kids and proclaimed it a much better day. That lasted until the kids started to fuss, then fight, then lob toast with apple jelly at one another. I found myself thinking about the girl I knew whose family had some sort of "Device" they were connected to in a closet. Don't get me wrong, this friend of mine was abused and the device was akin to shackles and I can't imagine how horrible it was for her and her siblings. But at that very moment the kids were off the chain, no pun intended and it seemed not so bad an option for me. As I thought these terrible thoughts, I plugged in my new apple cinnamon Glade PlugIn then turned around to start screaming about banning wire hangers.

But I didn't, I couldn't...that Glade Plugin kicked in and man, oh man, it was like Prozac air freshener! Seriously, there is nothing better than the smell of apple and cinnamon, especially during the holidays. All of a sudden I began contemplating christmas decorations and baking holiday cookies. Of course, I'll have to go back to the store for more. Many more. They won't last very long dialed up to the highest setting.
