These Cars Will Most Likely Survive The Nuclear Holocaust

Sam was about two and a half years old and Zoe was just shy of her first birthday in this video. I'd forgotten all about these! I found a number of forgotten gems on an external drive. I'll post more as time goes on. Some are rather incriminating. Not for the children but for the grown-ups involved...

Awwww....very sweet. I enjoyed that. I love how they just stared, awe-struck into the camera. And I got to hear you talk again.

We had not had the camera with video capabilities very long when I took this. I think they thought I was taking pictures. Before I started they were chattering in their baby language but when I turn the camera on, they were struck dumb.

Yes, I'm talking again. Ugh.

So cute. For some reason that car reminds me of a McDonald's sign. The top looks like golden arches or something.

I LOVE those cars!! When my son started at preschool, a car just like that took all his attention. I saw the angst in him when we'd get there in the morning and some other kid was in it already, so I started getting us there earlier.
And they look like Lowly Worm's car in the Richard Scarry books...

Pru- I think it was a marketing ploy. The red and yellow, I mean. Everyone who has had kids in the last 12 years has one of these cars parked somewhere! They are everywhere!

Ange- Thanks for reading my blog! Isn't it funny what lengths we will go to? And I've never thought of Lowly Worm's car but you're exactly right!
