The kids are really into Halloween this year. They want to do it all. Pumpkin patches, hay rides, fall festivals, maize mazes, costuming and decorations are all on their To Do list.
This morning before breakfast we started working on ghosts. I bought pre-cut bags and twist ties and they were able to assemble them on their own. Sam's a lefty with ambidextrous tendencies. That's worked against him somewhat but his dexterity is improving. Go, fine motor skills!
Zoe's a lot like me and gets flighty during the more structured activities. Thankfully, she's 4 and has the opportunity to grow into some focus. Unfortunately, I am 35 and stuck with my inattentiveness. On the other hand, Sam wasn't leaving there until he'd assembled all 25 ghosties per specifications. He had to be firm with his sister to get that last ghost off of her head.
Here is a little taste of how very sweet and hard to understand the kids really can be...
( I've consulted with speech therapy at school and they tell me they are both fine.
Up close and personal, I understand everything they say.
On video, I have trouble.
So, good luck to you without a written transcript)

They are darling together... and I didn't have too much trouble understanding, I get lots of practice trying to understand my own 4 year old. I should post a vid in exchange.
I liked the bit when he realized the lincoln log was the pencil she was looking for.
Such fun! And what's that mural on the door?
Steph - I like it when he looks off camera a bit and says, "Woooo!"
Mrs. B - It's a treeflower. It's unfinished, like 90% of the things in my life. But the good thing is it's a base for some very pretty crafts by the kids. We'll finish it over the Holidays.
