A couple of people have emailed and expressed an interest in seeing early footage of the kids. Another reader is interested in the sound of my voice or better yet, my accent! Well, here's a couple of vids highlighting not only my accent but the kid's "Big Round Head" phase, too.

Do you remember the cartoon Rocko's Modern Life? If not, they had characters called Mr. and Mrs. Bighead. I think they were frogs. That is what your latest entry made me think of.
And you do not have an accent.
De-id he ge-it that fru-om you Ba-ee-b?
This cheered up my whole day and almost made me pee my pants with happiness. I listened to "did he get that from you babe" four times. I always liked Georgian best of the southern accents. Drawn out and gentle. AND I got to hear you laugh. YAY!
What(?), I really like All this Trouble, people, so this was a really big deal for me.
Okay, I listened to it 5 times.
Mel- I sound like a horse eating corn through a picket fence! And it's even worse when I go all high-pitched with the baby talk! You've known me for 10 years AND you've lived in the South most of your life, right? I think you're a little biased. I DO know of the big-headed frogs. I liked them very much. You know, my kids had abnormally round heads for so long and then Poof! one day they grew right into them!
P-smudge- 5 times is the limit. You've reached your quota. But I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. What you probably can't hear is Joe answer me with, "No, I think he gets it from you..."
Puh-leeze! Compared to me you sound like a speech pathologist. Oh, how I wish I had a recording of one Miss Jenna G. singing, "Y'all gonna make me lose mah mind, up in heah, up in heah." That would blow some minds for sure.
@ P-Smudge ... five times makes you a stalker ... lol.
And I know you think you love "All this Trouble", but you hate "All this Trouble" compared to how much I love it!
(Do people talk trash in the south? You know ... for fun? I hope so.)
But let's not count how often I show up to visit. That is NOT a reflection of how much I love this blog. That's a reflection of how much time I need to spend eating potato chips. Which I can't do at my computer, because people will see me with them and want my chips.
btw ... I just read ALL of the posts I missed since I was here last and commented on them all.
Because I love this blog!
... ok .. . I was going to say something witty here but I'm pulling up blanks.
sigh.
but I DO love this blog.
OH. I know what I need to say!
I took my blog private because the dude who won't honor the contract to sell us our house ... that dude? Him and his attorney READ MY BLOG! They read it in court.
I just can't have the artistic license to say what I need to say with THEM reading it ... so I took it private.
I think I already put you on my list of allowed readers ... but I'm double checking on that right now.
If you have the time and the inclination to visit, you are welcome to visit ... and you can bring your friends. Just no evil California attorneys and their clients.
WendyOhW@yahoo.com .... e mail me if you can't get in, k?
Loved my visit!
It was (wv) SUPRO!
Oh yes ... one more thing:
You DO have an accent.
My training is actually in speech therapy. lol.
But I loved your voice. It does NOT sound like a cow through a fence or whatever you said. It actually sounds a little bit brittish. A little bit.
OH yes. And I heard Joe. ecorsedr (wv sounds like of course I did)
Wendy- Yes, people "talk trash" down here, too. It's lovely that you love the blog so much. That makes about...five of us all together! I signed up for your blog. Thanks for the invite. And if any one else can believe it, I HAVE heard the "little bit british" thing before. Maybe it's all the time I logged watching British comedy or maybe, just maybe, I am Monty Python's collective love child. I AM adopted after all...
Oh, and you win the "most comments in a day" prize, you freak! (That's me "talking trash", by the way.)
Lighten up, folks! All five of you!
I'm the winner I'm the winner now I get to eat your dinner!
heh heh ... I am a freak!
Just a warning, wendy. Her dinner menu includes carrot cookies for dessert.
Oh goodness, it's lovely, your voice I mean. I'm listening to it after listening to P-smudge's and it's freaky how it's so different but still soooo american.
Thank you, Miss Smith. Thank you very much!
